The World Art Day is celebrated globally every year to commemorate the birthday of legendary artist, Leonardo Da Vinci. This year, we, the members of IAA-India, official partner of UNESCO, call upon budding artists from educational institutions – schools, colleges and universities – throughout the country to take part in the celebration of our chapter of the World Art Day.
We, at IAA-India, wish to bring together aspiring artists with diverse artistic sensibilities from every corner of the country in order to facilitate an exchange of ideas as a part of our World Art Day programme. We kindly solicit the participation of students and budding artists in this confluence of artists on the auspicious occasion of World Art Day, 2023.
The theme for India’s G-20 Presidency is “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or “One Earth. One Family. One Future.”, abiding by which IAA-India hopes to conduct this year’s programme of World Art Day. Artworks encompassing myriad aesthetics and varying perspectives created by these ambitious, young artists is a part of the programme we look forward to. The artwork needs to be submitted online which has to be carried out by filling up a submission form.
The students need to fill in all the necessary information such as name, address, alternate address, e-mail ID, contact number, alternate contact number, guardian’s name, class/semester/year, department, name and address of the institution, state represented by the participant, category of artwork being submitted and the provision to submit the artwork.
The participation is devoid of any amount of registration fees. Each participant will be awarded with an e-Certificate while every educational institution taking part in this programme shall be appreciated in ways more than one. We assure that your participation shall not only enrich our World Art Day programme but also be a rewarding experience for you as well.
One of the most integral objectives of IAA-India is to nurture young talent in the country in order to help them blossom into successful artists, the architects of a better tomorrow. Through the World Art Day programme, we hope to take a step forward towards fulfilling this objective and we earnestly hope for you to join hands with us in our journey ahead.
